Just found out about this festival to be held in the grounds of Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset, gardens set up by General Pitt Rivers, he of the most facinating museum in the world here in Oxford.
And what a line up.
The Felice Brothers!!!!!!! Wilco, A A Bondy, The Unthanks, Low Anthem, Ladyhawk and many many more.
The venue looks idyllic, can I go...will we be in India...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be contended with what I have left for them already.

The last of my money which no one knows of is the huge cash deposit of twenty two million dollars $ 5 million that I have in the Vault of a Financial company in europe for safe keeping. Richmond Fontaine

A decent evening music back in the village hall in Tingewick. A 90 minute set of their own compositions that covered the territory of soft rock but with a hint of Seattle grunge in it. After all they are from Portland Oregon which lies just up the road in US/Canadian terms.
Highlight for me was the guitar playing of Dan Eccles, seen closest in photo below, who with the minimum of electronic aids, one foot pedal, managed to produce a lot of good sound out of his instrument.

Good debut by Sidibe but it was the wicked witch mother played by Mary Lee Johnson that was totally convincing. The good teacher was just too attractive to be believable and a surprising cameo by Mariah Carey as the social worker.
